The Secured Lender
Capital Business Credit LLC announced the addition of industry veteran Charles Sharf as executive vice president and New York factoring portfolio manager. Sharf will run the Company’s commercial services division, which encompasses factoring and credit products, in the New York region. Sharf will work directly with CBC’s CEO, Marc Adelson, and executive chairman, Andrew Tananbaum, to expand CBC’s New York client base, focusing on factoring solutions for middle market companies.
“Based on client feedback and market analysis, we know that there is a real void for middle-market companies seeking financing,” said Marc Adelson. “For companies in manufacturing and/or importing of consumer goods, factoring can provide access to working capital which can be used to make capital improvements and run daily operations, to ultimately fuel growth.”
Sharf comes to CBC from Rosenthal & Rosenthal, a traditional factoring business, where he was senior vice president and portfolio manager, responsible for a material portion of the Company’s factoring and credit business, as well as client origination. He also served as assistant vice president at Bank of New York Commercial Corp.
