Impact Imports is a NJ-based company that manufactures and imports infant clothing for high-end department stores around the country. The Company’s signature line, Miniclasix, is known for its high quality and its 100% cotton designs.
In 2007, the company was at a crossroads. There was a change in ownership and Impact was in need of financing to support the change and fuel its growth and turnaround efforts. During that time, Impact turned to Capital Business Credit (CBC) to provide full-service factoring, which included a revolving line of credit as well as the handling of the company’s credit and collections. CBC quickly realized that their business was undercapitalized and not only provided Impact with more leverage, but also helped them develop stronger relationships with their suppliers in China.
With the capital support, as well as CBC’s expert counsel, Impact was able to expand its private label & branded businesses, and to upgrade its internal systems to become more efficient.
“For more than five years Capital Business Credit has not only provided Impact Imports with traditional factoring services, but has provided strategic guidance with respect to issues impacting our industry,” said Carol Woerle, president of Impact Imports. “They are a valued partner.”
